Everyone, I'd like to tell you. I haven't gone to Universal Studios Florida before in my life. If I get to this summer, I'll perhaps ride the attractions, have a go at Kingpin's Arcade and get some cool souvenirs. And you see, my favorite DreamWorks movie is Shrek. And I've seen some DreamWorks movies with my late grandmother: Megamind, Mr. Peabody and Sherman, The Croods and How to Train Your Dragon 2, me and my family did see Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda and Madagascar 3 at the drive-in back when my own father was still around and seen some DreamWorks movies in Celebration Cinema (Shrek the Third (with my parents), Bee Movie (with my parents, siblings and late grandfather), Monsters vs. Aliens (with my parents) and Kung Fu Panda 2 (with my last elementary school class)), AMC Theaters (Penguins of Madagascar (with my family as a surprise after dinner at Russ' in 2014) and Trolls (with my sister and parents)) and Phoenix Theaters (Puss in Boots: The Last Wish; with my mother).
On the Ilumination side, my first Illumination movie I saw in theaters was with my last elementary school class back in 2010/2011 and in fact Illumination's first movie (they were going to have a wordless Genndy Tartakovsky-directed dinosaur movie as their first feature, but this CGI movie beat them to it), then I saw The Lorax with my middle school class in 2012 for a Earth Day project, then I saw The Secret Life of Pets with one of my aunts and its sequel with my oldest brother and mother, then I saw Sing with my family and I am definitely looking forward to seeing The Super Mario Bros. Movie with my mother when it hits theaters.
On the Universal side...my first flick when I was then new to the world when I saw in general and with my own mother was Babe (at a different hospital than the one that my own brothers share and in 2008, we saw The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything: A VeggieTales Movie at Celebration Cinema. And in 2007, me and my family went to see Evan Almighty.
On a side-note...my father wanted to go to the place alongside that other theme park owned by the company DreamWorks has been taking potshots at. He died sadly last year as did my grandmother (in 2020) and my grandfather (in the last day of December 2021 and 2021 in general). It was tragic. May they be in our hearts. Amen.
