The Trio Fast Biters (also known as Sharpteeth) appear in The Lonely Journey of The Land Before Time (TV Series) as the main antagonists of the episode, though they only have a small role.
Role[]
While Chomper is out in the Mysterious Beyond looking to teach its sharptooth inhabitants to be "nice", he walks into a cave to rest, and is confronted by the fast biter trio. After a botched attempt at talking to them, they snarl at the young tyrannosaur and pursue him out of the cave.
During the chase, Chomper gives the red raptor the slip by going under a log too low to the ground for them to follow; immediately afterwards, the green and purple raptors crashing into their partner.
Meanwhile, thinking that he had escaped the Sharpteeth, Chomper said to himself, "Whoa, that was close!". He then reached a steep cliff which led down a slope to a raging river below. Just then the red Fast Biter and his two counterparts came charging right at him roaring loud and he had to hide. He found a place when they came over and snarling and growling the Fast Biters walk to a better place where they can find him but the gray one accidentally slipped on the slope and he went tumbling into the river below with his two counterparts. They are not seen again afterwards.
Trivia[]
- The green Fast Biter look similar to Thud, one of Red Claw's subordinates, except that this Fast Biter's green color is more dull.
- Incidentally, these three Fast Biters have the same coloring as the sharpteeth from The Land Before Time X: The Great Longneck Migration.
- Some people have believed that the Trio Fast Biters aren't villains, although they were villains because they're actually sentient predators. Most of the sharpteeth are sentient predators which they are not normal animals at all.
