The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas is a soundtrack album for the 1982 film of the same name, based on the 1978 musical comedy. The album was released by MCA Records on July 12, 1982, and produced by Gregg Perry. The soundtrack features songs written by Carol Hall for the original stage production, as well as two new songs composed by Dolly Parton, who starred in the film alongside Burt Reynolds. Parton's songs, "Sneakin' Around" and "I Will Always Love You", were both released as singles and became hits on the country charts. The latter song also reached the pop and adult contemporary charts and became one of Parton's signature songs.
