Swarming Leaf Gobblers is the minor antagonist in The Land Before Time V: The Mysterious Island. They scour the land searching for food, and when they find it, every last leaf is stripped from trees and bushes.

Role in the film[]
Early in the film, Grandpa Longneck sees them in the distance, believing it is sky water, but realizes it is something terrible. The swarm of locusts end up devouring almost every last leaf in the once lush Great Valley, forcing the herds to leave the next day. They move through a land that had recently become a desert; all the food in the are had been eaten by the locusts. They do not make a further appearance.
