Universal Studios Wiki

Summit Entertainment is an American film production and distribution company that was founded in 1991. It became widely known for distributing major films, including The Twilight Saga series, Now You See Me, RED, and The Hurt Locker (which won the Academy Award for Best Picture in 2010).

In 2012, Summit Entertainment was acquired by Lionsgate, making it a subsidiary of the larger studio. While it still functions as a brand under Lionsgate, most of its films are now marketed and distributed under the Lionsgate name.
