Steve Jobs is a 2015 American biographical drama film based on the life of Apple Inc. co-founder Steve Jobs, starring Michael Fassbender in the title role. The film is directed by Danny Boyle, produced by Scott Rudin, and written by Aaron Sorkin (with a screenplay adapted both from Walter Isaacson's biography Steve Jobs as well as from interviews conducted by Sorkin). The official full trailer was released to the Internet on July 1, 2015. Steve Jobs premiered at the 2015 Telluride Film Festival on September 5, 2015 and has a limited release in New York and Los Angeles on October 9, 2015. It was released nationwide in the U.S. on October 23, 2015.
