Sol is a green lizard-esque creature who has thick gray eyebrows and a goatee. His sclera is yellow. He wears a white long sleeved shirt with a light red bowtie and red suspenders. He wears brown pants and dark brown shoes.

- Sol's name comes from Solomon from the Bible.
- Tim Hodge stated on the commentary that he was created as a similar substitute to Grandmum when they originally planned the series to have Jason and Michelle stuck with the penguins for the whole series until the end.
