Sleeping Beauty is one of Fiona's Princess friends. She seems to always be tired and is seen constantly dozing off during random events.
Appearance[]
She is beautiful with brown, shoulder length hair and dark green eyes. She wears a green and white dress in Shrek the Third and can be seen wearing a blue dress in Shrek 2 when she stumbles out of her carriage after being announced of her arrival. Sleeping Beauty wears a silver crown on the top of her head.
Role in films[]
Shrek 2[]
Sleeping Beauty is first mentioned at the start of Shrek 2 when Shrek is reading Fiona's diary. It says that Fiona wasn't allowed to go to Sleeping Beauty's sleepover because of her curse. She is later seen, where she tumbles out of her carriage at the Royal Ball after being announced.
Shrek the Third[]
She has a greater role in the film, which involves helping Fiona and the other princesses fight guards to access the castle. She first appears in Fiona's baby shower, but Prince Charming interrupts it and takes over the throne. She escapes with Fiona, Queen Lillian, Doris, and the other princesses. She is later betrayed by Rapunzel and imprisoned with others in a dungeon. They escape and head towards the castle.
After Snow White tricks the guards, they enter the castle's grounds, avoiding the knights on guard. While trying to get into the castle, Sleeping Beauty yawns and falls to the ground, causing the knights to trip over her and fall unconscious. With the other princesses, Doris and Queen Lillian, Sleeping Beauty arrives just in time to stop Prince Charming from killing Shrek. After Charming is defeated, she talks to the other princesses, Doris and Queen Lillian, in the background.
