- “Mr. Horner, the Serpent Sisters have the goods.”
- ―The Serpent Sisters warn "Big" Jack Horner that they have brought him the map to the Wishing Star.
The Serpent Sisters are minor antagonists in Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.
They are mercenaries and assassins that "Big" Jack Horner hires to find and deliver the map to the Wishing Star.
Appearance[]
The Serpent Sisters are two women who look and dress quite similarly. In fact, both wear completely black clothes, from the shirt, with the sleeves pulled up to the elbows, up to the trousers.
Even in the face they are quite similar, with the only difference being the long hair, both gathered in a braid: one has it black and worn behind her back, the other has it orange and worn on her left shoulder. Even the boots are different since the first has them in light brown and the second has them in black.
According to the latter, they also have the same snake tattoos that start from the arms and reach up to the neck.
Personality[]
The Serpent Sisters are murderous and ruthless mercenaries who will stop at nothing to achieve their goal, in fact they have confessed to having had to kill several people to get hold of the map to the Wishing Star. However, both are amazed when they see something that leaves them dumbfounded, such as the trophy room where "Big" Jack Horner keeps his entire magical collection.
In addition to this, the two have a very different character: the one with black hair is more reserved and attentive to what she says, and if the situation goes badly she wouldn't hesitate to disown her sister. The latter, on the other hand, is more naive, speaks without worrying about the consequences and is very impulsive, which in the end will cost her dearly due to the hand of King Midas.

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish[]
The Serpent Sisters are tasked by "Big" Jack Horner to find the map to the Wishing Star and bring it to him. The two complete the task and take it to their superior in his company, who is satisfied and takes them to his trophy room. Here the Serpent Sisters see all the objects and magical creatures Jack Horner has collected and are surprised by them, even if Jack still asks them to give him the map of the Wishing Star, which he believes is much more powerful than his magical objects.
While "Big" Jack Horner looks at the map claiming that he will use the wish to become the master of all magic, one of the Serpent Sisters asks Jack about his nursery rhyme, calling it "the lame one", which annoys Jack because it reminds him of the days when magical fairytale creatures like Pinocchio were getting more attention from him, which leads him to warn them that "Little Jack" is long dead and that he is "Big Jack Horner". As punishment, Jack shows the two Serpent Sisters the Midas touch to pay them "their weight in gold" as he promised them, one of them touches it and ends up turned into solid gold. As Puss, Kitty, Goldilocks and the Three Bears then burst into the room, the other Serpent Sister gets permission from "Big" Jack Horner to leave with her sister turned into a golden statue.
Quotes[]

Trivia[]
- It is not known if the Serpent Sisters are inspired by some really existing character or if they are original characters from the film Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.
- The Serpent Sisters are named after the snake tattoos they both have on their bodies.
