Scooter Carrot is the supporting character of VeggieTales. He is a Scottish carrot who was a former ship engineer of the U.S.S. Applepies, and is also a police officer of Bumblyburg.
Personality[]
Despite being shown to be strong and feisty, he can be a bit loony at times. He also doesn't appreciate when people don't understand what he's saying due to his strong accent.
It is shown in The League of Incredible Vegetables that he is terribly afraid of the dark.

- His name is based after Scotty from Star Trek: The Original Series.
- The inspiration behind Scooter's voice was a drama that Jim Poole and Phil Vischer did at their church, in which they acted it out entirely with Scottish accents.
- He is the first VeggieTales character to have eyebrows and bulging eyelids at the same time.
- In his most recent appearances, Scooter's voice is inconsistent, as it is higher-pitched in some episodes and lower-pitched in others.
- In Building Others Up, Scooter mentions that he has a brother.
