Laura Jeanne Reese Witherspoon, known professionally as Reese Witherspoon, is an American actress, producer, and entrepreneur. She is best known for her roles as Elle Woods in Legally Blonde and Legally Blonde 2, June Carter in Walk the Line, which earned her an Academy Award for Best Actress, Cheryl Strayed in Wild, in which she received a Academy Award nomination in the same category, and Madeline Martha Mackenzie on the HBO series Big Little Lies, which she also produced. She is also well-known for voicing Susan Murphy/Ginormica, the protagonist of DreamWorks' Monsters vs. Aliens, and Rosita in the 2016 animated film Sing. Additionally, Witherspoon's production company is Hello Sunshine.
