Melora Zaragoza is the tertiary antagonist of Universal•Illumination's 2024 animated feature film Despicable Me 4, the fourth installment in the Despicable Me franchise.
She is a hasty and snobbish woman who used to go to the hair salon to have her hair made fashionably. However, after an incident with Lucy for accidentally ruining her hair, she wanted to get revenge on her, becoming her rival.
Personality[]
Melora is a despicable, nasty, evil, and mean woman. She wants to assault Lucy after when she accidentally blow up by smoking her hair and destroying the hairdresser shop for some reason.
Appearance[]
Melora is a tall woman with white skin, green eyes, black eyebrows and long hair, and she has white and yellow hairdresser shirt on it. After Lucy burned her hair, she puts a bandage on her hair.
Biography[]
Not much is known about Melora's life nor of what she works as. However, she was known to be one of the clients for Mayflower's Manes who wants to have her hair stylized to be pink with a white streak in it. When Lucy, who is under the identity of "Blanche", thought of just making her hair be wet and let it dry. However, Melora wants to have her hair be dyed pink.
However, Lucy would accidentally mess up on the steps on dying the hair, as Lucy was supposed to bleach all of Melora's hair and to leave the product on the roots for 20 to 30 minutes before rinsing with water to dry, but had mixed up the chemicals, which causes a part Melora's hair to burn off, thus ruining Melora's hair. However, Lucy tries to hide the ripped piece of Melora's hair, which leads to Lucy causing a electrical fire from splashing the water into one of the lights of the mirror's frame, which caused the other lights of the mirror frames in the salon to burst out. Lucy would then run away, while Melora, with her hair now being ruined, is with beside the Hair Saloon Manager with her hair covering her face.
Melora would be seen again when Lucy is at the supermarket, with her hair bandaged up from the chemical burns. However, when Lucy accidentally knocks over the cans of pasta that the Supermarket Food Stocker was stacking up, Melora would recognize Lucy as being the one who ruined her hair and goes on a chase to try to get revenge on Lucy, even going as far as to try to assault Lucy with her purse and later a stolen spatula.
During the chase, Melora relentlessly keeps chasing Lucy, while damaging a single food product in the store, even when Lucy throws flour, a cow sign, butter sticks, hitting a freezer cooler with ice pops, and being temporarily stopped by an automatic door. When Lucy and the girls get into their car, Melora would still go into chasing Lucy with a spatula in hand. However, Lucy would successfully get away from Melora.
Melora is never shown to get any comeuppance, thus making Melora a Karma Houdini.
