Max Newman is the main protagonist from Good Boys and the leader like figure of the Bean Bag Boys.
Personality[]
He is a sixth grader who is currently going through the first stages of puberty, often thinking about girls, rubbing against a tree, and fantasizing about Brixlee for most of the film. But overall, he is a very kind and considerate friend and leader. He is also quite curious and oblivious of sex. However, he is very aware of the troubles of drugs and drinking, and plans never to take drugs. When Lucas is crying during Music class, he tries to comfort him and find out what's wrong. He is also quick to consider what his friends need and want, although he did make the Beanbag boys skip school, steal drugs, and lock a cop in a convenient store with a dildo.
