The album was released by Capitol Records on July 13, 2018, and features songs written by the iconic pop group ABBA. The soundtrack includes performances by the film's cast, including Lily James, Amanda Seyfried, Pierce Brosnan, and Cher. It captures the essence of ABBA's music, bringing the beloved songs to life in a new cinematic context. The recording was produced by Benny Andersson, who along with Björn Ulvaeus had produced the original ABBA recordings. Additionally, many of the musicians from the original ABBA recordings participated in making the soundtrack album.
