Joseph Francis "Joe" Alaskey III was an American actor, voice actor, stand-up comedian, impressionist, and broadcaster. He was best known for being Mel Blanc's successor as the voice of several Looney Tunes characters, as well as Plucky Duck and other characters in Warner Bros.' Tiny Toons Adventures. He was also well-known for doing the voice role of Grandpa Lou Pickles in the Nickelodeon series Rugrats, since season 5 (after David Doyle's death). Additionally, he voiced Droopy in various Tom and Jerry direct-to-DVD films from 2011 until his death in 2016.
Aside from voice acting, Alaskey was also well-known for his television role as Beano Froelich in the NBC sitcom Out of This World.
For Universal Studios He Voiced Stinkie, one of Casper's uncles, in the 1995 Universal Pictures live-action film Casper.
Alaskey died of cancer on February 3, 2016 at age 63.
