Jody Moreno is the deuteragonist of the 2024 film The Fall Guy.

Past[]
Jody Moreno works a camerawoman for Hollywood production. She is in a relationship with Colt Seavers, who is a stunt double for famous action star Tom Ryder. One day while filming a new scene for an upcoming film, Colt's stunt performance goes wrong and he ends up crashing into the floor where he is injured and his back is broken. This results him into abandoning his career as a stuntman and his relationship with Jody.
The Fall Guy[]
Jody is now a director. She is making her directional debut on a new film, "Metalstorm." The production takes place in Sydney, Australia, with Dan Tucker, Colt's longtime friend, being the stunt coordinator. Eventually, Tom Ryder goes missing. One day, while a stuntman for Ryder performs a car crash, she finds out the new stuntman is Colt, who was called by Gail Meyer, a film producer, to join the production. She is still angry about their breakup and never asked him to join. They try to keep things professional later in the day while shooting scenes. At night, she and Colt have a talk in his car while they talk about their past relationship.
Jody encounters Colt at a hotel where she notice his bruises as he just got into a fight. The two later talk each other through the phone while Colt's in Tom's apartment searching for him.
While production of Metalstorm continues, Colt and Jody begin to rekindle their relationship. After a day of filming, Jody invites Colt to a karaoke. When it's clear that he isn't showing up, Jody begins performing, unaware that Colt is involved in an extended chase through Sydney rescuing Ryder's personal assistant, Alma Milan, from 3 men led by, Dressler.
Later that day, Jody looks over at the scenes, replacing Colt's face with Tom's. She finds out that Colt is being suspected as the murderer of Tom's recent stuntman, Henry, who was accidentally killed during a party. Gail tries to convince her that he is guilty. Shortly, Jody gets a call from Colt, who is currently in a boat chase from Tom's henchmen and the two have a talk. The news reveals that Colt's presumed dead following an explosion near the docks and this shocks Jody.
The next day, Tom returns to production, accompanied by his bodyguards. In her truck, Jody is approached by someone in an alien costume and attacks him while he doesn't fight back until he gives her a thumbs up pose. She realizes that it's Colt and revealing that he's alive, much to her relief. He convinces her of his innocence and Tom and Gail's crimes. They managed to come up with a plan to make Ryder confess to everything. Jody convinces Ryder to get on a car for a scene before Colt hijacks the car and drives off. With a handcuffed and while wired with a microphone, Colt starts to make insane stunts and drives like crazy in order to make him confess his and Gail's involvement with Henry's death while Dan, Jean-Claude (Alma's French dog), and the rest of the crew, hold off his goons.
Unfortunately Gail manages to get the recording at gunpoint. While confronting her, Jody fights off one of Ryder's men. Gail calls for a helicopter so she and Tom can escape. Jody helps Colt leap onto the helicopter in mid-air and Colt fights and retrieves the recording, he falls onto a crash mat prepared by Dan, while the helicopter crashes. Colt and Jody share a kiss. Later, Gail is arrested and Tom accidentally got himself blown up while attempting to call his lawyer.
Following Tom's presumed death, he is replaced by Jason Momoa as the lead. Metalstorm premieres at San Diego Comic-Con, with Colt, Jody, Dan, and most of the crew attending, and the film becomes a blockbuster hit. Jody and Colt get back together.
