Golden Freddy is a major character of the stories of Five Nights at Freddy's franchise.
He was now voiced by Pete Sepenuk.
Biography[]
Golden Freddy is a mysterious, ghost-like entity who takes on the form of a yellow animatronic bear. He plays a prominent role in the Five Nights at Freddy's franchis, but is very rarely seen.
History[]
Before he was given life, Fredbear was a kindful performer to kids and loved to entertain them, with his brother Springbonnie and the Puppet. Unlike the new Animatronics, Fredbear, his brother and the Puppet were inactive during the night and wouldn't move about unless activated. Fredbear, during one of the nights, was sabotaged along with Springbonnie by the Night Guard to get back at the worker. After awhile, he was repaired and continued entertaining the kids before another night where the worker came back and activated Fredbear into attack mode to kill the Night Guard but however, Fredbear malfunctioned and instead killed the worker.
The next night, Fredbear and the other two Robots were given life by the soul of the Nightmare which gave them their own powers and personalities. Eventually, Fredbear and his friends were put out of service and moved to a different Pizzara with new animatronics on the stage instead and they were left in parts and service.
Personality[]
Before given life, Golden Freddy was a fun and loving preformer who wanted nothing more to entertain the children until one night, he and his friends were given life by the three souls of the Nightmare and had their own personalities and powers. After they were put out of service, Golden Freddy had turned from nice to pure evil and wanted nothing more than to destroy the new and toy animatronics so he and his pals could be back on the stage once again. His revenge turned him into a power hunger, and a madman. He, like Nightmare, is also unforgiving of failures as he destroyed Freddy's eye for not completing his task, and beat him for not doing as so, the same resulted with Bonnie and Foxy as he nearly killed Bonnie but was attempting to kill Toy Chica and broke Foxy's jaw.
He eventually realises his mistake after killing the Toy Robots and turned to the good side, helping and bring back to life the toy robots and defending them when needed to. He was shown to be very protective over his new friends, going as much as to killing his old friend Springbonnie, who is now known as Springtrap, to protect them from him as he has grown to be dangerous.
Powers and Abilities[]
Former Powers
Superhuman Strength: Golden Freddy has proven to have high levels of superhuman strength that makes him stronger than most Animatronics. He was shown to be overpowering and defeating beings smaller than him, as shown with Freddy, Foxy and the Puppet. He punched Freddy with enough force that knocked the Animatronic unconscious for awhile. He punched Foxy's jaw that it caused it to break, and he also was shown dominating the fight with Bonnie, beating the robot with ease until Toy Chica intervention. His strength is that strong was that it was enough to split Bonnie's body in half, nearly killing the Animatronic. His strength increased dramatically after absorbing Springtrap's power, as he knocked the Night Guard unconscious and dominated his fight with the Puppet without much issue. His strength became far more powerful after absorbing the Puppet's power, enough to destroy the Toy Animatronics. After giving his power back to the Puppet and Springtrap, his strength went back to normal. During his first fight with Springtrap, Springtrap was shown dominating most of the fight, cutting Golden Freddy's leg off then killing him afterwards, with Golden Freddy hardly getting enough hits in. During his second fight with his brother, Golden Freddy was shown to be fighting him on even grounds, both sides getting their hits in, however he was proven to be defeated by Springtrap, mostly due to him holding back most of the time as he still felt love for his brother. The only beings who have proven to be stronger are Springtrap and Nightmare.
Superhuman Durability: Golden Freddy is very durable, as he was shown to be resist to most damage. He wasn't damaged by Bonnie's sudden attack on him, neither with Toy Chica's powerful wall-leg kick to the head that made the Animatronic go backwards. He was shown no damage after being blasted away by the Puppet's power, only little injury. Golden Freddy's durability does have his limits, as Springtrap was able to cut off his leg and then his torse from his body. In their next fight, he managed to damage his eye. After his powers were taken, Golden Freddy still showed to have his durability, but again, it does have its limits as Nightmare's sword was able to go through his body and damage his internal systems, slowly killing him. His durability wasn't able to save him from having his head ripped off by him.
Teleportation: Golden Freddy’s main ability is to teleport, as he is able to effectively teleport himself to another location at will, and on a serious occasion, can teleport multiple amounts of people, however, this greatly exhausts him and requires him to “recharge” in order to teleport yet again.
Mind Control: Golden Freddy has the ability to mind control others and use them for his own personal gain, as he was able to control Bonnie to attack Toy Chica and the same with original Chica to attack Toy Chica, however, this ability can be overcome by the person’s mental strength or the use of someone else’s power that’s similar to Golden Freddy.
Resurrection: Golden Freddy’s seemingly strongest ability is to bring the dead back to life. He was shown bringing the old Animatronics back to life without any problems, despite them being inactive for years.
Power Bestowal: Golden Freddy is able to give away said-power to others, as he was able to give away the power given to him back to the Marionette.
Power Absorption: Golden Freddy can absorb the power of others, as he was able to absorb Springetrap’s power and later the Marionette’s.
Levitation: Golden Freddy can float at will.
Intangibility: Golden Freddy can go through any object with ease, he can also use this ability whilst using levitation.
Abilities
Master Combatant: Golden Freddy displayed himself to be a highly trained fighter, displaying his strong combat abilities that are more efficient when using his supernatural abilities. He was able to overpower the Puppet, a master combatant fighter himself, defeating him with relative ease and knocking him out. He was shown to be fighting Springtrap on even grounds but was proven to be defeated by his greater strength and his love for his brother, to which Springtrap killed him. In the next showdown with him, Golden Freddy batttled him far better than last him, ripping his protective head armor off him but Springtrap was still shown to be stronger and eventually defeated Golden Freddy, knocking the bear out.
