"Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)" is a song that is featured in the 2008 live-action feature film, Mamma Mia!. In the film, the song is performed by Amanda Seyfried as Sophie Sheridan, a young woman who is about to get married and wants to find out who her biological father is among three possible candidates. She sings the song at night on a Greek island, where she lives with her mother Donna (played by Meryl Streep). The song expresses her desire to meet her father and her uncertainty about her future.
