Eric Guillon is a French storyboard artist, designer, and art director of the Despicable Me series. He is also the creator and designer of the Minions.
Early life and career[]
Guillon started out studying application arts and worked in advertising for five years. He began working as a designer with Fantôme Animation for six years on the series Insektors and other projects. Guillon has worked with Illumination for over five years. In an interview, he said, "It's an exciting adventure for me since I had never worked with an American team before."[1]
Personal life[]
Guillon lives in Los Angeles with his wife and children.
