Lavender Troggs, better known as Doctor Strangeglove, is the main antagonist of the Moshi Monsters franchise, including the 2013 feature film Moshi Monsters: The Movie.
Biography[]
Past[]
It is not known how much of Strangeglove's past is canon with the film, although it is said that his hand was bitten off by a White Fang husky in his days as a scientist. This started his grudge against the Moshlings. He replaced his hand with a powerfully mystical glove known as the "Strangeglove", which he found in his laboratory.
Moshi Monsters: The Movie[]
In the film, Dr Strangeglove seeks to steals the recently-discovered legendary Great Moshling Egg and transform it into a gigantic mutated Glump-monster. He teams up with his dim-witted assistant Fishlips to "poach" the Egg from Moshi archaeologist Buster Bumblechops at his Museum of Moshiness, pulling off a heist and leaving the manor vandalised. While later broadcasting his success through a hologram, Strangeglove tasks Katsuma, Poppet, Furi, Luvli, Diavlo and Zommer to get him a range of items in order to mutate the Egg, threatening to destroy if they fail. Along the way, he gradually kidnaps each them with the help of Sweet Tooth.
Strangeglove eventually has all the Moshi Monsters locked up in a cell in his underground hideout factory lair (hidden beneath the sewers of Monstro City), where he attempts to kill them with torture (in a torture machine called "YOUR DOOM"). He summons an army of Glumps from his Glump-O-Tron 3000 machine and attempts to hatch and mutate the Egg, but is prevented by an army of escaped Moshlings. Strangeglove subsequently activates the machine before escaping with Fishlips, but the Moshlings stop the machine and instead use it to blow up his "Scare Force #1" blimp.
Strangeglove and Fishlips are shown to be travelling together stranded in the Dessert Desert at the end of the film; it is unknown what happened next.
