Dawn Betterman is a major character in The Croods: A New Age. She is the lone child of the Bettermans and Eep Crood's best friend.

Dawn has long black hair tied in a braid with two hair strands hanging in front of her ears, hazel eyes, and tan skin. Like her parents, she wears a turquoise pendant.
when she becomes the the member of the thunder sisers tribe, sister sunset, she has neon pink face paint in her right eye.
In the Croods: Family Tree, her turquoise pendant becomes a medium pendant.
Personality[]
Dawn is shown to be quite shy and nervous, but she is a very quirky girl who has spent her life inside the walls maintained by her parents. Dawn is also sweet, kind, and caring, and she becomes best friends with Eep Crood due to their similar interests and backgrounds.

Initially, Gran is ambivalent to Dawn and can't be bothered to learn her name.
