Catherine Anne O'Hara (born March 4, 1954) is a Canadian-American actress, comedian, singer, screenwriter, and television personality. She is best known for her comedy work on SCTV Network and Schitt's Creek. She landed her first significant role as Myrna Wallbacker in the children's CBC sitcom Coming Up Rosie. She also portrayed Gail in the black comedy film After Hours, Delia Deetz in the fantasy horror comedy film Beetlejuice, and Kate McCallister in the first two Home Alone films.
