Bessie Beary is a character in the Beary Family series. She is the wife of Charlie and the mother of both Junior and Suzy. She is the one who always gets angry at Charlie every time he damages parts of their home or hurts her while he tries to install or fix something.
Bessie is seen as a spendthrift by Charlie, especially with regards to calling professional servicemen whenever there is a need for home repairs. Whenever he goes off on his latest attempt to circumvent such a fee, she frequently replies, "Here we go again."
