Benjamin Jeremy "Ben" Stein is an American actor, voice actor, writer, lawyer, and commentator on political and economic issues. He is well known for his monotonous deadpan voice. Some of his well known film roles are the unnamed economics teacher in Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Dr. Arthur Newman in the The Mask and Son of the Mask. He was also a speechwriter and lawyer for US Presidents Nixon and Ford.
