Barry Sembène is a major character in the 2015 film Jurassic World and a supporting character in its 2022 sequel Jurassic World: Dominion. He is a colleague and friend of Owen Grady who was once a Velociraptor trainer at Jurassic World. He later joins French Intelligence in protecting dinosaurs following the 2018 Dinosaur Outbreak.

Barry is bilingual, knowing both French and English. Barry is intelligent, as well as having a high respect for the animals he had worked with, much like Owen Grady. He did not underestimate nor ignore the fact that; the Velociraptors were not truly tame or "under his control". This was likely; why Owen had requested Barry be brought on the IBRIS Project.
Physical appearances[]
Barry is a tall dark skinned man who is rather physically fit. His style of dress could be said to be more casual than how fellow Jurassic World employees dress with button up over shirts over white t-shirts, pale slacks, and loafers. Even seven years later while working with French Intelligence, Barry still dressed rather casually. In 2015 Barry's head was bald and most likely shaven since, as of 2022, Barry had grown his hair out but was still rather short and had a line up.
