Albert Lawrence Einstein, known professionally as Albert Brooks, is an American actor, voice artist, comedian, author, and filmmaker. He is known for his apperences in films such as Lost in America, The Scout, Defending Your Life, and The In-Laws. He Voiced Marlin From Disney/Pixar's Finding Nemo. He also voiced Russ Cargill and other guest characters on the popular Fox animated sitcom The Simpsons.

For Universal Albert voiced Tiberius in the 2016 Illumination animated film, The Secret Life of Pets, but not The Secret Life Of Pets 2. Because Albert is not available.

Brooks was born Albert Lawrence Einstein into a Jewish show business family in Beverly Hills, California, to Thelma Leeds (née Goodman), an actress, and Harry Einstein, a radio comedian who performed on Eddie Cantor's radio program and was known as "Parkyakarkus". He is the youngest of three sons. His older brothers are the late comedic actor Bob Einstein and Clifford Einstein, a partner and longtime chief creative officer at Los Angeles advertising agency Dailey & Associates. His older half-brother was Charles Einstein, a writer for such television programs as Playhouse 90 and Lou Grant. His grandparents emigrated from Austria and Russia. He grew up among show business families in Southern California, attending Beverly Hills High School with Richard Dreyfuss and Rob Reiner.
