The Acolyte is a major antagonist in DreamWorks Animation's 2000 feature film The Road to El Dorado. He is Tzekel-Kan's servant. Unlike Tzekel-Kan's strong, smart superior Cortes, Acolyte is the priest's weak, dumb servant.

Role in Film

The acolyte met his end after Tzekel-Kan found out that in order to bring the giant jaguar statue to life he needed one more thing that the spell was still missing for it to work then he says that it needs more body and pushed Acolyte into the pool of green water, killing him as well.
